Rear Drum Brake Rebuild Kit for IH Scout with Dana 44 & 11" Drums:
Maintaining the safety equipment on your Scout may not be the sexiest of side projects, but it's important to have confidence in your brakes whether you're hitting the highway or the trails. Our rear drum brake rebuild kits offer flexible configurations based on your needs.
Available Options:
- Available for either 11" x 1.75" or 11" x 2.25" rear drums and shoes. See the vehicle fitment guide below for more details.
- Standard kits come with a full set of brake shoes for both rear drums, 2 adjuster hardware kits and 2 drum hardware kits.
- Kits are available with or without new Brake Drums and Wheel Cylinders, sold in pairs only.
Vehicle Fitment Guide:
- These kits are intended for a Scout 80, 800, II, Terra, or Traveller equipped with a Dana 44 rear axle and 11" Bendix style rear drums only.
- IH began offering the Dana 44 rear in 1963 with an 11" x 1.75" Bendix style rear drum. This was used across the Scout 80/800/II lineup until 1974 when the rear drum size was increased to 11" x 2.25" Bendix style.
- Generally, a Scout 80/800 with a Dana 44 rear axle calls for an 11" x 1.75" drum and shoe.
- Scout II's made from 1971-1973 were typically equipped with an 11" x 1.75" rear drum, and 1974-1980 came with the 11" x 2.25" rear drum.
- This information is for reference only and ultimately it's up to the customer to determine proper fitment for their vehicle. We advise our customers to confirm the size of their rear drum and shoe prior to purchasing.

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
Returns: Ordered Incorrectly or Return for Credit
- Returned products are required to be in brand-new condition and include the original undamaged manufacturer's packaging with all packaging materials, including packing inserts, plastic bags please include the original receipt with the product
- Upon contacting us customers shall receive a UPS Return label
- Ship the items back to us within seven (7) days of receiving your label
- Your refund will be processed within 3-4 days after the item has been received and inspected at our facility
- Refunds will be made by crediting the original method of payment
- All items are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee
- Return Shipping is paid for by the customer
- Scout od Die does not issue credit on any made to order materials/products
- Custom orders and/or special items are not eligible for return and/or exchange
- All sales are final on: Clearance, Blowout Sale, Special Deals, or any items categorized under these descriptions
